WELCOME TO CIRCUITS + SUMMITS,

A YEAR-LONG FUNDRAISER FOR

ETERNAL HOPE INTERNATIONAL, WHOSE WORK IS DEDICATED TO

PROVIDING EDUCATION, SKILLS AND SELF-RELIANCE

TO THE POOREST IN NEPAL.

I DESIGNED CIRCUITS AND SUMMITS TO CHALLENGE THE SELF-IMPOSED OR SOCIETY-DRIVEN, LIMITING BELIEFS WHICH WE ALL EXPERIENCE. WE CAN BELIEVE THE LIMITING THOUGHTS AND CONTINUE TO LIVE BELOW OUR POTENTIAL, OR WE CAN SAY "YES" TO NEW AND SOMETIMES UNCOMFORTABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH.

IMPOVERISHED STUDENTS AND FAMILIES IN NEPAL ARE EAGER TO LEARN. THEY HAVE ONLY KNOWN POVERTY, BUT ARE REJECTING SOCIETY’S DEFINITIONS OF THEIR CAPABILITIES BY SAYING “YES” TO EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING. SOME OF THE POOREST IN NEPAL ARE LEARNING TO READ, BUILD HOMES, PLANT CROPS, SEW SCHOOL UNIFORMS, OR ARE LEARNING A TRADE IN PLUMBING OR ELECTRICAL. SEEING THEIR GROWTH AND THEIR SMILES BRINGS A JOY AND HOPE THAT WILL NEVER TIRE.

JOIN ME AS I HIKE AND RUN ON THEIR BEHALF. OUR COMBINED EFFORTS CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR GENERATIONAL CHANGE!

THANK YOU.

INITIATIVES THAT CREATE OPPORTUNITY

A young Nepali girl holding a menstrual hygiene kit from Days for Girls and Eternal Hope International. A mountainous region in Nepal.

MENSTRUAL HEALTH KITS AND EDUCATION

  • TRYING TO REACH 1000 MORE GIRLS AND WOMEN THIS YEAR

$10 Provides a Nepali girl or woman with a kit that includes the following:

2 Panties, 2 Washable Pads, 8 Washable Liners, 1 Drawstring Bag, 1 Soap, 1 Wash Cloth, 1 Calendar, 1 Carry Pouch

Kit usually lasts a year or more. Also Includes attendance to the Menstrual Health Class, in collaboration with Days For Girls and some travel expense for their teacher.

Without a kit, girls and women use scraps from old clothing or blanket. Some cut off a section from a rug. Some just bleed without any protective barrier.

JOB SKILLS TRAINING AND EDUCATION

  • Supporting students of all ages who live in the slums. Provides needed educational materials and hiring teachers for rural and mountainous regions. Currently adding plumbing and electrical vocational training to Eternal Hope’s job skills training center, Ascend Academy.

Two people assembling a wooden frame on the floor of a room with white walls, near windows with bars. Various tools and construction materials are scattered around, including buckets and a can of paint.

RENOVATING SCHOOLS AND BUILDING BATHROOMS

  • Renovating rural and mountainous schools to improve educational environments. Badly needed roof repairs, mold removal, paint and structural supports. Bathrooms are sometimes without doors and some schools don’t yet have bathrooms. Constructing bathrooms is a high priority.

Local Nepalese are hired for these construction projects.

DONOR TESTIMONIALS

  • IN REFERENCE TO GETTING LOCKED IN BATHROOM DURING MARCH CIRCUIT

Well, I'll tell you what, when you got locked in that bathroom, and nearly DIED, that's what put me over the edge. I was like, "I can't be watching my friend over here sacrificing her life and not be donating to this thing"! 🤣🤣
